Meet the Board:
Sara Schena
Sara is a Visual and Dance Artist, with an MA in Art and Design from Grays School of Art; Sara was Dance Officer in residence for Aberdeenshire Council between 1997 and 2002 and is currently taking a sabbatical to raise a family.
Bryan Angus
Bryan is an arts graduate in painting from Gray's in Aberdeen, but for most of his career has worked as an arts manager. Bryan is now is now running his own arts business 'Creative Retreat' with his wife, Carla Angus.
Patricia Seligman
An active community participant, Patricia has previously been the Chair of the Friends of Duff House and is a Director of the North East Preservation Trust and deputy Lord Lieutenant.
David Lloyd
David has had a high profile career in Advertising/Public Relations and Marketing Communications, working for multi-national companies, most recently holding the position of Marketing Communications Manager for Scottish Widows prior to his retirement in 1998.Always a painter, David then undertook a five year Fine Art course at UHI and Grays School of Art which culminated in a Masters Degree in 2006; David has
since exhibited throughout Scotland, with exhibitions in
Australia, Switzerland, and America.
Duncan Hynd
Duncan is a businessman who moved from London to the Banffshire coast in 2006; he runs his two current businesses from home and recently became a Director of COAST Festival at the beginning of 2008. He is also a member of the Banffshire Coast Tourism Partnership.

Danielle Daglan
Danielle studied Graphic Design at Kingston College School of Art & Design before working in the fashion industry until 2002 when she took her career in a new direction and began working in arts and event project management; initially within education whilst working for Creative Partnerships, the Government's flagship creativity programme for schools and young people in England, and then moving on to Square Chapel Centre for the
Arts to coordinate The July Project, a festival dedicated to
young people, before relocating to Scotland to take up the
management of COAST.
COAST Festival Forum Group:
COAST Festival feels that it is imperative for the event to have community ownership in order for it to develop and become a celebration of not only the visual arts, but the area too.
The Festival has undertaken public consultation to enable anyone interested to submit their views, opinions and ideas to COAST and, if they would like, to elect to be kept informed of developments of these ideas or to become part of the COAST Festival Forum Group, who meet regularly on an ongoing basis to assist in shaping the festival as it grows from year to year.
This group includes artists, art appreciators, business people and members of the community who have an interest in assisting the development of COAST.
