Welcome to COAST

COAST Festival of the Arts is an annual weekend of events that takes place in the beautiful Banffshire Coast towns of Banff & Macduff.

 

 

 

OPENING EVENT - This year we will celebrate the launch of the Festival with the opening of the exhibition at Macduff Town Hall, “Show Your Hand”. Join us at 7pm on Friday 25th for refreshments and a first look at this unique exhibition of new artwork.

VENUE OPENING TIMES - please be aware that not all venues will be open every day. Check with the individual listing for information.

DISABLED ACCESS - all venues have appropriate disabled access. If you need further information prior to your visit please get in touch with the venue.

 

BUSSES -

A Festival Bus will be travelling from Banff Castle to Macduff Aquarium on a 30 minute cycle, between 10am and 4pm, Saturday and Sunday. This is free to you, but not to Coast - please feel free to give a donation. Other service timetables are available at the following web addresses

The Coast Committee would like to thank: Aberdeenshire Council staff at venues and all those who have supported the events -volunteers at venues and workshops - the local businesses and individuals who have supported us - and everyone who comes and enjoys an event.

Coast is run by a Community Association, all our activities are not-for-profit. We are always looking for volunteers willing to get involved. You can contact us through www.coastfestival.org.uk and come along to our meetings.
